FAQs
COA covers up to $200 per month toward the Embla program, deducted pre-tax from your paycheck. Because payroll runs twice per month, any employee cost is automatically split into two equal paycheck deductions. This means EmblaThrive (coaching only) is fully covered at $0/month, while EmblaThriveMD (with GLP-1s) has smaller out-of-pocket costs: $75/month for compounded semaglutide, $175/month for compounded tirzepatide, and $200/month for branded Ozempic.
Full-time employees of NCOA are eligible for the program. This benefit is for weight management only, not for those managing type 2 diabetes. You’ll complete a short online screening to confirm eligibility before joining. If you’re continuing GLP-1 treatment, Embla’s medical team will handle the transition.
Stay active in your coaching sessions and check in regularly, it’s how we make the program work. If you’re using medication, we’ll do short clinical check-ins every 90 days to monitor progress. Continued coverage depends on active participation.
Most members connect with their coach 2-4 times a month. You also have unlimited chat access through the app. The program is flexible, allowing you to set a pace that works best for you. Most members see best results after 8 - 12 months.
