Behavior first. Medication second.

Embla is a whole-person weight and cardiometabolic care program built around 1:1 health coaching. You'll be matched with a dedicated coach who works with you on nutrition, movement, sleep, and the daily habits that drive real, lasting change.

When medication is clinically appropriate, independent licensed clinicians prescribe GLP-1s at the lowest effective dose, with a plan for tapering built in.

Behavior-first, coaching-led model

Your coach helps you build practical routines that fit your life, not someone else's idea of discipline.

Optional GLP-1 medication at the lowest effective dose

GLP-1s can help, but they're not the whole solution. If prescribed, they support behavior change, they don't replace it.

Tapering strategy to avoid indefinite use

Many members step down from medication over time. We guide that process carefully so your results can last.

Sustainable weight loss and cardiometabolic benefits

Weight care affects energy, sleep, confidence, metabolic health, and daily life. We support the whole picture.

Optional GLP-1 medication

Prescribed by independent licensed clinicians at the lowest effective dose, with a tapering plan built in.

Judgment-free support

Whatever your starting point.

Full access to the Embla app

For coaching, tracking, and support in one place.

Low-dose by design

Most GLP-1 programs push members to the maximum dose. We do the opposite: the lowest effective dose, adjusted to how you're responding.

16.7% average weight loss
over 64 weeks

From our published TRIM study of 2,694 members.

78.5% successfully
taper or stop medication

Tapering isn't an afterthought. It's built into the plan from the start.

Less than half the standard max dose

Less medication means fewer side effects, better long-term results, and a lower price than most GLP-1 programs.

Better daily health

Members report improvements in energy, sleep, confidence, blood pressure, and overall wellbeing.

Takes about two minutes.

2. Meet your coach

An intro call to talk through your history and what kind of support will help.

3. Build your plan

Your coach builds a plan around your nutrition, movement, sleep, and habits.

4. Begin coaching

Weekly 1:1 sessions in the Embla app.

5. Start low-dose GLP-1s if appropriate

An independent licensed clinician evaluates you separately and prescribes at the lowest effective dose.

Lasting weight care, now part of your benefits.

FAQs

Is there a cost?

Embla is covered under your medical benefit, subject to your plan's deductible. Your specific cost depends on your plan design. Check your Summary of Benefits or call the number on your ID card for details.

Who is eligible?

Employees and adult dependents (18+) enrolled in a Roundstone member employer's health plan. EmblaThrive coaching is for members with a BMI of 27 or higher. EmblaThriveMD requires clinical eligibility, evaluated by an independent licensed clinician.

Do I need medication?

No. Embla is behavior-first. Some members choose coaching only. If medication is appropriate, it's used as a tool to support lifestyle change, not replace it.

How do I get medication if I qualify?

An independent licensed clinician reviews your medical history. If GLP-1 medication is prescribed, your care team will explain your options and next steps.

Does my employer see my health data?

No. Employers receive de-identified aggregate reporting only. Your clinical information stays between you and your care team. Embla operates under HIPAA.

What if I'm trying to get pregnant?

GLP-1 medication is not for pregnancy or active conception planning. If that applies to you, coaching-first support through EmblaThrive may be the safer path.

What's expected from me?

Stay active with your coach, complete regular check-ins (typically every 90 days), and follow your care plan. Embla is designed to support you, but your engagement drives the results.
